Jamshedpur, June 17: The Kadma police station of Jamshedpur has arrested a fraudster from Giridih and sent him to judicial custody on the charge of cheating a Tata Steel employee in Kadma by pretending to be a fake friend and stealing jewelry and important documents from his house.
The name of the fraudster caught by the police is Jayant Kumar Jaiswal, who is a resident of North 24 Parganas, West Bengal. The police have recovered a bike, a Tata Punch vehicle and important documents of the plaintiff Prashant Dinda from him.
CCR DSP Manoj Kumar Thakur gave this information in a press conference on Tuesday. He told that the fraudster who was arrested used to mislead people by posing as a fake officer and businessman and used to run away with important documents and jewellery etc. from their house.
A similar case was of Tata Steel employee Prashant Dinda, resident of Kadma. Where the accused, posing as his friend, told his wife that there was an Income Tax raid and ran away with her car, jewellery and important documents. As soon as the case was registered, the police became active and the accused was nabbed from Giridih, who is being sent to judicial custody after interrogation. He told that the arrested person has made many people his victims. This is being investigated.
