Jamshedpur, July 30: On the occasion of Birth Anniversary of JRD Tata “JSA One day Football Tournament” was organized by Tata Steel at Gopal Maidan on July 30.
Top 4 teams of JSA Football League’14 of all three divisions ( Super Division , A Division & Premier Division) including Tata Football Academy , Tata Motors & Tata Steel participated in the event. In the final match of the tournament Tata Steel defeated Jugsalai Diamond Football Academy 1-0 to win the contest.
Sunil Bhaskaran, Vice President (Corporate Services ) was the Chief Guest & distributed the prizes to the winners and runner-up. Winner Tata Steel was given Cash award of Rs. 15000 while Runners Up Jugsalai Diamond Football Academy received Cash Award of Rs. 10,000.
On the occasion Farzan Heerjee , Chief GR & Sports , Charles Borromeo , Head Sports , Bagicha Singh ,Ramesh Chandra Mehta, Chairman Jamshedpur Sporting Association Football Committee, Rajeev Mishra , Secretary, JSA , Satnam Singh , Sr. Manager Support Services & other Sports department officials , Avinash Kumar , Ms. Punam Kumari ,Ramesh Chandra Das , Mrinmoy Patra, Arun Kumar Sinha were present.
