Tata Steel Corporate Services plants 200 saplings at Kadma Biodiversity Park on Earth Day

Jamshedpur, April 22: In celebration of World Earth Day, Tata Steel Corporate Services today planted 200 native species of plant saplings at Kadma Biodiversity Park. This significant environmental initiative, spanning over 5.5 acres, marks a crucial extension of efforts to enhance the biodiversity of the area.

Dr.  Sudhir Rai, General Manager of Medical Services at Tata Steel, alongside Arun Vidyut, Chief Divisional Manager of Town Services at Tata Steel Utilities & Infrastructure Services Limited, and Sanjeev Choudhary, President of Tata Workers’ Union were among the esteemed guests present during the plantation drive.

With a steadfast commitment to environmental stewardship, Tata Steel continues to spearhead initiatives that contribute to the preservation and enhancement of our planet’s biodiversity.
