Jamshedpur, April 22: JUSCO School South Park (JSSP) observed Earth Week on April 22. More than 2000 students participated in a week long celebrations held in the school premises from April 15–22 April.
The students participated in a series of activities signifying the theme –Planet Versus Plastic. The Students of Std IX-XII participated in a ramp walk showcasing their talent and spreading the message of switching to sustainable life style. The students designed their attires with the waste and recyclable materials.

Students of Std VII & VIII participated in Cyclothon with placards highlighting the theme of the Earth Day 2024.The students cycled around Bistupur and conducted a pledge and encouraged the fitness freaks of Jamshedpur to join the movement of sustainable environment.
During waste management & segregation the middle and high school students in collaboration with KORU Foundation collected 5 types of recyclable wastes and segregated them as bottles, cans, plastic packets, stationery items and E –Waste.
The students were engaged in the following activities thereby raising awareness and taking appropriate actions to reduce the usage of plastic and adapt to sustainable living.

Speaking on the occasion Mili Sinha , Principal JSSP emphasized on the importance of small steps towards protecting our Mother Earth which can create a sustainable greener world tomorrow.
