Tata Steel Chess trainees win 7 medals

Jamshedpur, Oct 6: Trainees from Tata Steel Chess Centre participated in the recently concluded 2nd Lt. Navin Kumar Sinha Memorial State Open Chess Tournament and demonstrated a winning streak with a 7 Medal tally.

Out of the 11 trainees who participated won four gold and three bronze medals in the tournament which took place on October 2.

Navieka Jaiswal won U7 Girls Gold, Adhiraj Mitra U7 Boys won Gold, Advika Mohanty U9 Girls bagged Gold and Harsh Kumar Jha U 11 Boys also bagged Gold medal. The bronze medal winners include Nitya Bharati  U9 Girls, Sai Shankar Singh U 7 Boys and Pratyush Naman U11 Boys.

The Tata Steep Sports Department congratulated the winners and coach Jayant Kumar Bhuyan and Shoukhin Kundu.
