Jamshedpur, May 12: Tata Steel has been honored with the �National Award for Outstanding Achievement in Industrial Relations� by All India Organization of Employers (AIOE). The award was presented at the annual general meeting of AIOE held on May 9 in Federation House, Delhi.
On behalf of Tata Steel, the award was received by Suresh Dutt Tripathy, vice-president, Human Resource Management, Tata Steel. Bandaru Dattatreya, Minister of Labour and Employment, Government of India presented the award.
The award recognizes organizations across industries that have outstanding industrial relations. The evaluation for the award was done in a three step process.
Firstly, through an application submitted based on the jury criteria followed by a regional presentation round where each zone was represented by eight to ten companies and finally the national round held on May 9 with ten finalists.
