Tata Steel Archer wins 3 medals at CBSE National Archery Championship

Jamshedpur: Eleven archers from Tata Steel and ISWP Archery Training Centres participated in the CBSE National Archery Championship held at Raipur (Chhattisgarh) from November 15-18, 2018. They won 6 medals (2 silver and 4 Bronze) in the Championship.

Abhishek Singh of Tata Steel Archery Training Centre won one silver and two bronze medals. He won a silver in the U-19 Boys 50 M event, bronze medals each in Olympic round and team event.

ISWP Archers including Aman Kumar in the U-17 Boys team event won a bronze medal. Kaushal Lal also won a bronze medal in U-17 Boys team event and Harsh Gupta won a silver medal in the U-14 Boys team event. Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) physical education and sports organizes this yearly inter school competition for all the clusters, Zonal and National level. The competition for Archery is at a National level.
