Tata Steel: Applications invited against vacancies in three plants

Jamshedpur, July 21: Tata Steel has invited applications against vacancies in its three plants in Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh and Odisha. According to sources, the vacancies are to be filled in Khopoli plant (Maharashtra), Sahibabad plant (UP) and Angul plant (Odisha). The applicants should be full time diploma holders (three years) from any AICTE recognized institution in electrical, electronics, instrumentation, mechanical, mechatronics, civil, ceramics, metallurgy and chemical engineering. Those having done diploma course from RD Tata Technical Education Centre, Jamshedpur or JN Tata Technical Education Centre, Gopalpur will also be eligible. General category candidates should have a minimum of 55 per cent marks in Diploma Engineering while SC and ST category candidates should have at least 50 per cent marks. A minimum of three years experience is also needed to apply for the vacancies. For Khopoli plant, the applicants should be domiciles of Maharashtra, sources said.

Those selected would get a basic salary of Rs 17,530 per month and annual CTC of Rs 4.60 lakh. The applicants will have to undergo a written test, interview and medical test before getting selected.
