“To control the price of steel, it is most important to make the market better. The steel sector is going to get the benefit of the works being done by the Government of India and other governments regarding infrastructure. But now there is a need that steel should be made according to the needs of the consumers and the needs of the people should be met by controlling the market prices,” said Narendran.
He said that Tata Steel has grown a lot. It will continue to grow in the future as well. He said that we still have iron ore mines till 2030, but later it will not be there. We will have to buy iron ore at a higher rate. In such a situation, we have to keep ourselves ready for that time.
“The one who will be productive in the market, will be able to rule the market. The union will have to cooperate to prepare the company for the future. All the office bearers, from the top three to the committee members should also be trained in the same way as the officers of the management so that the union can be prepared to prepare the company for the future,” added Narendran.
He said that the need today is that the management and the union need to move forward with respect for each other.
