Jamshedpur, March 1: Tata Sons’ Chairman, N Chandrasekaran will arrive in Jamshedpur on March 2 to pay homage to the Founder.
Jamshedpur is all decked up for the 184rd birth anniversary celebration of Jamsetji Nusserwanji Tata on March 3.
According to the reports, N Chandrasekaran will arrive at Sonari Airport on Thursday, March 2.
Later in the evening, Chandrasekaran will inaugurate the illumination inside Jubilee Park and pay homage to the Founder at 6.15pm. The illumination will be in place till March 5.
At 6.45 pm, Chairman is scheduled to inaugurate the Agni Steel Structure inside Jubilee Park.
On March 3, Natarajan Chandrasekaran and senior company officials will pay floral tributes to the Founder JN Tata inside Tata Steel works.
The Chairman will also pay homage to the Founder at Postal Park in Bistupur at 9.15 am on March 3.
There will be pageantry parade by the Social Organisations with the theme “Greennovation’. There will be parade by Horse Riders, Parade by NCC Cadets, Skits, Nukkad Natak etc
Chairman, Tata Sons along with senior members of the Tata group will also inaugurate exhibition at Steelennium Hall, Jamshedpur Works on March 3. The theme for the exhibition at Steelennium Hall this time is “Greennovation – Make Tomorrow Green”. Later in the evening he will fly back to Mumbai.
The Steel City will pay tributes to the founder, Jamsetji Nusserwanji Tata on his 184th birth anniversary. The celebrations commemorate the vision of the Founder after whom the steel city took its name over a century ago.

To give the occasion an excitingly colourful look of Alice’s Wonderland, 40 landmark locations across Jamshedpur including heritage buildings, places of worship, dozens of roundabouts, etc. are illuminated with exquisite light designs.
The Founder`s Day celebrations at Jamshedpur Works will also be live streamed for employees along with broadcasting Facebook Live on Tata Steel official handle which can be viewed by public worldwide.
