Jamshedpur, March 1: With the onset of March, mercury level has started going up in the city. On Wednesday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 35.5 degree Celsius while the minimum temperature was 17.4 degree Celsius in Jamshedpur. On Tuesday, the maximum and minimum temperatures were 35.4 and 18.8 degree Celsius respectively, sources said.
According to Meteorologist Abhishek Anand, “Heatwave conditions may be experienced in the third or fourth week of March. The temperature in many parts of the state would be over 35 degrees. In the last four months, there has been no rain in Jamshedpur or any other part of Jharkhand. This year more heat and heatwaves can be expected.”
On Thursday, the temperature will be between 35 and 36 degrees, sources said.
