Jamshedpur, April 1: Tata Pigments Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Steel, has surpassed the previous records of Production and Sales in the Financial Year 2014-15 and created new records.
Tata Pigments has produced Prime Pigments of 3653 tonnes during the Financial Year 2014-15 as against 3529 tonnes in the previous year, registering a growth of 3.51%.
Total Sales – Pigments & Paints is 18904 tonnes during the Financial Year 2014-15 as against 17586 tonnes previous year, registering a growth of 7.50%.
As for Industrial Decorative & Coating Services (IDCS) business is concerned, the Company has achieved a business of Rs.20 crores by registering a growth of 20% over last year.
During the year Tata Pigments developed, produced and marketed 450 tonnes – an import substitute pigments product for paint and construction industry.
First time the company has crossed the Total Turnover figure of Rs.100 crores. During the last six years the company�s Turnover has gone up from Rs.32 crores in FY 2009 to Rs.100 crores in FY 2015 registering a growth of 212% over FY 2009.
On this occasion, Managing Director, Prakash Sarode & Raju Tudu, General Secretary, Tata Pigments Workers� Union jointly cut the cake and addressed the employees.
