Large turnout at Chunashah Baba Urs in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur: The 55th annual Urs of Hazrat Badshah Abdul Rahim, popularly known as Chunashah Baba, was observed with deep devotion and enthusiasm on Saturday.

On the third day of the Urs, a grand chadar and sandal procession was taken out at 11:00 am, followed by the chadarposhi ceremony at 1:20 pm.

A Langar-e-Aam was organized from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm, drawing a large number of devotees.

In the evening, a Mehfil-e-Sama by Krishna Murti and Party enthralled the audience from 7:00 pm onwards.

The Urs celebrations will continue on Sunday, December 21. Langar-e-Aam will be held from 3:00 pm, while a grand Qawwali night is scheduled at 9:00 pm.

Renowned performers Shahrukh Sabri Qawwal and Party (Gaya, Bihar) and Imran Alam Qawwal and Party (Amravati, Maharashtra) will present soulful qawwalis.

Several dignitaries and members of the Dargah Committee were present on the occasion, including Prince (son of late President Paras Nath Singh Warsi), Vice President Ashwani Kumar (Raju), General Secretary Ratan Singh Badshah, Secretary Md. Hanif Illahabadi, Md. Farooq, Gaddi Nashin Taj Ahmed, Haji S.M. Qutubuddin, Abdul Wahab, Ajibul Ansari, along with Bistupur Mosque Imam Izhar Ahmed, Maulana Kaleemuddin, and Sajid.

The Urs continues to be a symbol of communal harmony and spiritual unity, attracting devotees from across the region.
