Jamshedpur, Aug 25: Tata Motors Workers’ Union (TMWU) President Shashi Bhushan Prasad and General Secretary RK Singh received a grand welcome at Tata Motors Plant-3 and World Truck on Monday following th landmark bonus agreement at Tata Motors. Senior officials, division heads, workers, and union members joined in the celebrations.
The first felicitation was held at Plant-3 at 9 a.m., where a large number of workers and committee members gathered. Addressing the event, President Shashi Bhushan Prasad and General Secretary RK Singh expressed gratitude to the workforce. Singh emphasized that the successful agreement was possible because of the trust and unity of the workers, stating that their concerns were always at the forefront during negotiations.
From the management, GM Trim and Paint Factory Kiran Narendra, GM BIW Factory Munish Rana, and GM NPI Animesh Kumar attended, while union officials, committee members, RK Singh Fans Club, and employees of Plant-3 were also present. The event was conducted by Naveen Kumar, with a vote of thanks delivered by Ajay Singh Babbu.
Later, at 11:30 a.m., another welcome ceremony took place at World Truck, where the leaders were honored with clothes and garlands. Vehicle Factory Head Manish Verma, along with Sandeep Chouksey, Selva Raj, and Sujit Jha, represented the management. The welcome address was given by Union Vice President RR Dubey, and the program was conducted by Manoj Kumar Singh.
INTUC National President G. Sanjeev Reddy accorded grand welcome
Jamshedpur, Aug 25: INTUC National President G. Sanjeev Reddy, along with Dr. P. Srinivasan, was accorded a grand welcome upon his arrival at Sonari Airport on Friday. The reception witnessed the presence of hundreds of workers, led by Youth INTUC National Secretary Rakesh Sahu.
National General Secretary Nitesh Raj felicitated the distinguished guests with a bouquet and shawl, remarking that the arrival of Sanjeev Reddy, hailed as the “messiah of workers,” would bring renewed hope in addressing workers’ issues and amplifying resistance against anti-labour policies.
Prominent leaders and members including Metropolitan President Abhinandan Singh, Santosh Gupta, Nikhil Singh, Amit Sahu, Sagar Sahu, Gautam Sahu, Ayush Gupta, Kamlesh Sahu, Rahul Sahu, Ashok Sahu, Harsh Gupta, Vimal Prasad, Mahesh Jaiswal, Ashish Kumar, and Praveen Mahanand were also present at the event.
