Tata Motors Workers’ Union leaders attend Bengaluru INTUC Working Committee meeting

Jamshedpur, June 28: Shashi Bhushan Prasad, President, and R.K. Singh, General Secretary of the Tata Motors Workers’ Union (TMWU), participated in the 316th Working Committee meeting of the Indian National Trade Union Congress (INTUC), held in Bengaluru. The two-day meeting witnessed the participation of INTUC leaders from across the country.

Prominent leaders from Jharkhand, including MLA Anup Singh, Rakeshwar Pandey, and Raghunath Pandey, were also present at the event. The meeting was addressed by INTUC National President Dr. G. Sanjeeva Reddy, Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar, and several other senior leaders.

Welcoming the delegates, Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar highlighted the historic role of INTUC, stating that the late Indira Gandhi regarded the organization as a strong pillar of the movement. He further noted that INTUC continued to strengthen the labour movement and support the party’s organizational structure.

Tata Motors Workers’ Union General Secretary R.K. Singh said that on the first day of the two-day deliberations (June 28–29), senior leaders provided guidance on various agenda points and discussed future strategies and action plans for the organization.
