Jamshedpur: Tata Motors has announced a two-day block closure at its Jamshedpur plant on December 18 and 19, with an additional day off on Sunday. As a result, the company will remain shut for a total of three days. According to sources, the decision to implement the block closure is attributed to the high production levels at Tata Motors’ Jamshedpur facility.
During the block closure period, employees will receive 50% of their wages. This marks the final block closure for the year. The temporary shutdown is a strategic move by the company to manage the excess production and streamline operations.
