Tata Motors Jamshedpur organises fire awareness walkathon

Jamshedpur, April 15: Tata Motors organised Fire Awareness Walkathon at Telco Township in Jamshedpur on Saturday.

Moto for the walkathon is to create awareness on fire safety among township residents.

The walkathon was flagged off at Sumant Moolgaonkar Stadium by Mohan Ganta, Head – HR.  

Tata Motors senior leaders, union members, fire, security, town administration participated in the walkathon.

Telco township residents joined the walkathon and marched across the township along with fire tender. Fire tender was displayed with fire awareness banner.

Pamphlets containing information on fire safety were distributed among residents during the walkathon to enhance their awareness on fire safety.

Jivraj Sandhu Head – ERC briefed about importance of fire safety in day to day life among all participants. Tata Motors Workers Union President Gurmeet Singh and General Secretary RK Singh, Soumik Roy Head-ER, VN Singh Head-Admin & Security, Rajat Kumar Singh Head Town-Admin, RK Singh Head-Works Security, Varun Changle Head-Fire Services, Rakesh Kumar Head-Crime and Intelligence, Vishal Kumar Head-Town Security, Ashish Ranjan Head-Material Checking, Maneesh Gupta Sr Manager Security, Achintya Singh Head CSR were present in the walkathon.
