Jamshedpur, May 24: The buses of Tata Motors Jamshedpur Plant have been acquired for the ongoing Panchayat elections in the district. As a result, the bus services for the company employees would be affected from 24th May to 27th May, sources said.
According to sources, a notification has been issued by the company in this connection. The employees residing in Telco Colony, Manifit, Ramadin Bagan, Namda Basti, Bamangora, Mishra Bagan and Govindpur would not get the buses on the said four days.
Sources said the Tata Motors employees would leave for voting on 27th May. However official announcement has not been made in this regard as yet.
Sources said work was done in Tata Motors and Tata Cummins plants on Sunday last. A compensatory holiday has been given today, they said.
