Employees to get minimum Rs 23, 231 and maximum of Rs 46, 323
Jamshedpur, Oct. 7: Tata Motors employees will get 12.2 per cent annual bonus for the year 2017-18.
A bonus settlement agreement was signed between Tata Motors management and Tata Motors Workers Union on Sunday. Despite being a week off the bonus was announced as festive season is nearing.
As per the agreement, the employees will get a minimum of Rs 23, 231 and a maximum of Rs 46, 323 in bonus. The average bonus amount will be Rs 36,501, sources said.
Sources said an announcement has been made to regularize 305 temporary employees. The temporary workers will get 8.33 per cent bonus of basic and DA and the bonus amount will sent to respective employees’ bank account by October 11.
The Tata Workers Union leaders congratulated the president and general secretary of the union for a better bonus agreement.
The bonus settlement agreement was signed by the manufacturing head CBVU AB Lal, plant head Sampat Kumar, senior manager Manas Mishra, HR Head Ravi Singh, ER Head Deepak Kumar, Administration Head NS Kadyan, union president Gurmeet Singh Tote, general secretary RK Singh, Vishal Badshah, Ajay Bhagat, Uttam Guha, Prakash Vishwakarma and Navin Kumar.
‘We demanded a better bonus agreement and regularization of temporary workers from last year once the company recovered from loss of Rs 2000 crore and we have been successful in providing better bonus and would also thank the management’, said Union president Gurmeet Singh Tote.
Tata Motors Workers Union general secretary RK Singh after the bonus agreement said, in the next five months we will have a better grade revision. He informed that regularizing and bonus agreement system which was made by Gopeshwar and Rajendra Singh will remain the same.
