100 times blood donor SK Singh felicitated
Jamshedpur, Aug 30: Tata Motors organised annual blood donors’ felicitation function at Telco Club on August 30 to honour diamond, platinum and golden blood donors. Chief Guest for the occasion was Tata Motors Jamshedpur Plant Head Vishal Badshah. Ruchi Narendra, Chairperson, Jamshedpur Blood Bank was present as the guest of honour.
Tata Motors bagged the best corporate award for 2017-18 for collecting 5951 units of blood. The company bagged four special awards from Jamshedpur Blood Bank, Voluntary Blood Donors Association (VBDA), East Singhbhum Red Cross Society and Jharkhand State Aids Control Society. The company had organised 35 mass blood donation camps in 2017-18.
Vishal Badshah felicitated Diamond donor SK Singh (Transmission) for donating blood 100 times.
Four employees S K Choudhury (Cab & Cowl), AK Shukla (Cab & Cowl), Partho Sarkar (Foundry) and A K Mishra (Cab & Cowl) who are golden donors were awarded for donating blood 50 times.
Mementos were presented to 84 donors for donating blood 25 times by Ruchi Narendran.
Special Award for Blood Donation Supporting was awarded to GET Club of Tata Motors.
At present Tata Motors has 90 employees in Golden Donors (50 times), 25 employees in Platinum Donors (75 times), and 19 employees Diamond Donors (100 times). Out of 41 centurion Donors in Jamshedpur Blood Bank, Tata Motors has 19 employees.
