Jamshedpur: Dina Bandhu Das, of TML Driveline (Rear Axle Dept.) who has donated blood for 100 times was felicitated at Tata Motors Blood Donation Centre.
AB Lall, Head (Jamshedpur Works) was the Chief Guest on this occasion and he has appreciated Mr Dina Bandhu Das on his 100th times blood donation and encouraged his wife Manasi Das, who also donated blood for 46 times.
AB Lall on the occasion announced that Tata Motors Blood Donation Centre would also felicitate any spouse of Tata Motors employees donating blood for 50 times and more in future.
He expressed his views that with donation of around 150 units of blood by Mr. Dina Bandhu Das and his spouce, had saved lives of around 600 people, as with one unit of blood 4 persons� life can be saved.
As per the Jamshedpur Blood Bank records, there are 37 Centurions in Jamshedpur (Jharkhand). Out of these 37 Centurions, 18 Centurions blood donors are from TATA MOTORS-JAMSHEDPUR.
A token gift presented to Dina Bandhu Das and Mrs. Manasi Das by AB Lall. In this programme Nalini Rammurthy, secretary of Jamshedpur Blood Bank, K Mohan Kumar, GM (Manufacturing), Sumant Kumar Sinha, GM (ER, W & CSR) and Chandrabhan Prasad, general secretary (Telco Workers� Union) and RanjitDhar, Head (Safety & Admin) were present.
