Jamshedpur: Tata Motors plant is all set to become zero water discharge plant by 31st March this year. Latest technology is being utilized in the company to make this possible. This would enable the company to fully utilize the water in the plant by recycling it for various purposes.
This was observed here on Monday by the plant head of Tata Motors AB Lal as the chief guest on the occasion of the concluding day ceremony of Flower Show and Energy Conservation Exhibition organized as a part of Paryavaran Utsav 2017 organized at Telco Club. He said that initiatives were taken by the company and Mansi Club to enhance greenery in the city. He said the temperature of Telco was less than the temperature recorded in other parts of the city owing to the vast greenery.
Lal also felicitated the winners and other participants of the Flower Show and the exhibition. A drama was also enacted on the occasion.
The first prize for the Inter School Environmental Quiz Contest was bagged by Pratyasha Chouhan of Little Flower School, Telco. Tata Motors officer Ramana Acharya won four medals during the Paryavaran Utsav.
Others present on the occasion included the chairperson of Mansi Club Bharati Lal, GM of ER Sumant Sinha, Ravi Singh, Ranjit Dhar, Vishal Badshah, Akhilesh Kumar, Manoj Ram, Hanumant Rao, Prashant Krishnan, NS Kadyan, VN Singh and Dr SL Srivastava.
