Tata Education Excellence Programme organises workshop for 8 Jamshedpur Schools

Jamshedpur, July 3: Tata Education Excellence Programme (TEEP), organised a workshop to address gaps identified in academic processes in schools. The workshop was organised on June 23, 2023 at Management Training Centre, Tata Motors for 8 schools.

Assessment of these schools was done on BASIC and SARAL assessment methods to analyse the education process maturity. These assessments are the preliminary assessments methods under TEEP for education process quality check.

Sunita Sinha, Creative director, Mount Litera Zee School and Ex-Principal, Gulmohur High School facilitated the workshop on Lesson Planning and SWOT (strength, weakness, opportunity, threat) analysis. The objective of the workshop was to locate gaps in the current education process and bridge them with more focussed and process driven methods to achieve the best results for both the school children and the school. The workshop was designed to cover aspects of SWOT analysis and lesson planning in detail. Several strengths and opportunities were identified as an output of this assessment. This workshop was specially curated to support schools on addressing the gaps. The workshop was organised after a gap of 3 years as TEEP assessments were reinitiated in 2022-23 post pandemic. 

Total 27 participants, including 5 principals from 8 schools participated in this program.

Officials from eight schools namely Vidyasagar Uchcha Vidyalaya, Bamangora, Samudayik Uchcha Vidyalaya, Baregora, MEUV Laxminagar, ABMP Adarsh High School, Rahargora, Gopabandhu  Vidyapith,  Tinplate Khalsa Middle School, Golmuri Utkal Samaj Middle School and Tinplate Union Mahila Inter Maha Vidyalaya participated.

This program will help schools to gear up and elevate their assessment preparedness for the upcoming assessment cycle. The program ended with a vote of thanks and a token of appreciation was handed over to Sunita Sinha by Pratibha Verma, Principal, Vidyasagar Uchcha Vidyalaya, Bamangora.
