Jamshedpur, Aug 4: Tata Motors Sports Department organized Inter Team Badminton Tournament, featuring league matches from August 1st, 2023, to August 3rd, 2023. The tournament witnessed enthusiastic participation from six teams each in the men’s and women’s categories. In the women’s category, the first semi-final took place between Safari Royals and Prima Challenger, resulting in a thrilling contest. Safari Royals emerged victorious with a 2-1 scoreline, securing their spot in the final. The second semi-final in the women’s category featured Indigo Fighter and Nano Warriors, where Indigo Fighter dominated the game with a 2-0 win, securing their place in the finals.

In the men’s section, Tata Cummins faced Safari Royals in the first semi-final. Tata Cummins showcased their skills and determination, defeating Safari Royals with a score of 2-0 to secure their berth in the final. The second semi-final in the men’s category saw a fierce battle between Nano Warriors and Prima Challenger, with Nano Warriors ultimately emerging victorious with a 2-0 win.

The highly anticipated final of the tournament is scheduled to be held on August 8th, 2023, at 3 PM, at Telco Club. The tournament is being officiated by the esteemed umpire, P G S Murthy, who proudly represented India as the head coach in the Special Olympics.
