Jamshedpur : One of the most happening corporate events, Tata Crucible Business Quiz with its 10th edition is gong to be organized in the city on October 10. It will be held at Michael John Auditorium, Bistupur, from 5 pm onwards. Celebrating a decade of the Tata Crucible Business Quiz, this year the event will bring a complete test of intelligence with more cities, higher prizes and a first time charitable component.
Offering greater opportunities to professionals across the nation this time round, four more cities have been added to the regional rounds, namely Jaipur, Raipur, Guwahati and Navi Mumbai, taking the overall count for the non-Tata track to 24 cities, while Tata track will be held in 8 cities, (total 25 cities).
The new season of the quiz kicked off at Coimbatore on August 22, 2013 and winners of regional rounds will compete in 4 zonal finals in the respective zones. The top two winning teams from each zonal final will participate in the national finals to be held in Mumbai on October 13, 2013.
The winners of the national final will receive a higher grand prize of Rs. 700,000 along with the coveted Tata Crucible Trophy, while regional winners and runner-ups will receive increased prizes of Rs. 100,000 and Rs.50,000 respectively.
The Tata group, which has always believed in giving back to society, is endeavoring to inculcate the culture of philanthropy amongst participants of the Tata Crucible this year.
The increase of Rs. 2 lakhs from National Winning team�s prize and Rs. 25,000 and Rs. 15,000 from the Regional Winners and Runners up prize respectively will be donated directly to a charity of the team�s choice fulfilling specified conditions. In addition to these prizes, as a special gift this year for completing 10 years, the National Champions will also be awarded a Tata Nano car (2 internal track and 2 external track) each.
A bigger event, a greater number of battling wits and higher stakes commemorating completion of 10 years, the Tata Crucible Business Quiz 2013 will bring a dynamic challenge to the sharpest young minds in India.
