Jamshedpur, October 12: To reduce the rush of passengers during the festive season, South Eastern Railway has extended the operating hours of two pairs of trains running from Santragachi to Guwahati and from Santragachi to Puri.
Due to which the passengers traveling from Santragachi to Guwahati and Puri will get a lot of convenience during the festival. Crowding has increased in trains on this route.
Seeing this Railway has introduced Santragachi-Guwahati Special till 27th October, Guwahati-Santragachhi Special till 28th October, Santragachhi-Puri Special till 27th October and Puri-Santragachhi Special till 28th October.
The route of six express trains has been changed due to the ongoing development work in Vijayawada division of South-Central Railway.
For this reason, from October 15 to 20, train number 13351 Dhanbad-Alappuzha Express will run on the diverted route. This train will not stop at Tadepalligudem and Eluru stations. Apart from this, train number 12835 Hatia-Sir M Visvesvaraya Bengaluru Express will go via the diverted route on 15th and 17th via Nidadavolu, Bhimavaram Town, Gudivada, Vijayawada.
Train number 22837 Hatia-Ernakulam Express will run on the diverted route on 16th via Nidadavolu, Bhimavaram Town, Gudivada, Vijayawada. This train will not stop at Eluru station.
13351 Dhanbad-Alleppey Express from 15th to 20th October, 12835 Hatia-Bengaluru Express from 15th and 17th October, 12889 Tata-Bangalore Express from 20th October, 18111 Tata-Yesvantpur Express from 19th October, 12376 Jasidih-Tambaram Express from 18th October, 22837 Hatia-Ernakulam Express from 16 October.
Tata-Amritsar will run on diverted route due to non interlocking work. Due to non-inter locking work in Lucknow Railway Division, Tata-Amritsar Express train will run on a diverted route. According to DPU Railways, the scheduled route of the train is Lucknow-Ayodhya Cantt- Zafarabad-Varanasi, which has been changed from Lucknow-Pratapgarh-Varanasi on various dates due to the block.
