Tasmia Fatma bags Principal’s Award at JH Tarapore School Recognition Night

School Honors Academic and Leadership Excellence 

Jamshedpur, March 26: J.H. Tarapore School hosted Annual Recognition Night, celebrating students who have excelled in academics, character, and perseverance.

The evening was graced by Dr. Vinita Singh, the Guest of Honour, who applauded the students for their dedication and achievements. Parents, teachers, and guests enthusiastically cheered as students were recognized for their outstanding contributions across various categories, including Academic Excellence, Good Conduct, Responsibility, and Perseverance, in alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 guidelines.

Special awards were presented by Director Rubina Bodhanwala, Founder Principal & Former Director Nargis Madon, Principal Lata Sharat, and Vice Principal Rukshana Gardin. Recognitions extended beyond academics, honoring achievements in club activities, Olympiads, and leadership roles.

Among the notable awardees, Pragya Bhardwaj (Std VIII) received the Middle School All-Rounder Award, while Sakshi Mahato (Std X) was honored with the Vice Principal’s Award for High School All-Rounder. The Higher Secondary All-Rounder Award was presented to B. Pratyusha (Std XII), and the Principal’s Award for ‘A Person for Others’ was conferred upon Tasmia Fatma (Std XII). Afiya Meraj was recognized with the People for Change Award by Souvik Saha, founder of the NGO People for Change. Additionally, Shreya (Std XII) was awarded the Rinku Sehra Award for Humanities, instituted in memory of Late  Rinku Sehra, a dedicated teacher at J.H. Tarapore School for 17 years.

Demonstrating the school’s commitment to social responsibility, charity cheques were presented by Chairman Bailey Bodhanwala to Sharmina Parikh and Abha Thakur from MCKS Food for the Hungry Foundation, Souvik Saha from People for Change, and Nora Shiva, who has been supporting the education, food, and accommodation of underprivileged children since 2009.

The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Vanya Pandey, Assistant School Pupil Leader, expressing gratitude to all contributors.
