Jamshedpur, June 22: Annual Appreciation Day of Tarapore School was held in the school premises on Friday. The Chief Guests for the event were B Chandrashekhar and Lalita Chandrashekhar. The Chairman of Tarapore School Beli Bodhanwala and the Vice Chairperson of Tarapore School Rubina Bodhanwala also graced the event with their presence.
The event commenced with the lighting of the lamp followed by the Welcome Song and the Prize Winners Song after which the prize winners of the academic year 2018 – 2019 took the Prize Winners Oath.
Awards were presented in total of eight categories – Best Endeavour, Active Participants of the School Council, Active Participants of the Activity Clubs, Academic Excellence, ICSE Awards & ISC Awards, Highest Achiever Awards, Special Awards and Individual Awards.
The principal�s trophy for the most responsible member of the school council was awarded to Priyanshu Mukherjee. The Sustained improvement award was awarded to K. Hemlata. The All- Rounder award was bagged by Anuj Jha.
The students of the Singing club and the Dance club put up performances to showcase their talent.
The Chief Guest, B .Chandrashekhar greatly appreciated the efforts of the teachers and the students of the school.
