Jamshedpur’s Bajrang Indane Gas Agency Operator Assaults Consumers Over Black Marketing

Jamshedpur: Consumers of the “Bajrang Indane Gas” agency in Sonari alleged that they were manhandled when they protested against the black marketing of LPG. The consumers have alleged that the agency is selling LPG cylinders illegally for ₹2,500 each.

When frustrated citizens finally protested against this blatant loot, the agency owner’s son and female family members allegedly resorted to violence to suppress the outcry.

Police Remain Silent Spectators

As the situation escalated, the owner’s family reportedly shoved and manhandled protesting consumers while using highly offensive and obscene language. Witnesses claim the agency operator displayed extreme arrogance, openly daring and threatening the helpless consumers by shouting, “Nothing can happen to me!”

The police personnel present at the scene reportedly remained mute spectators, failing to intervene or restrain the aggressive operators as they harassed the public.

Attack on Journalists

In a desperate attempt to suppress the truth, the operator allegedly abused journalists and threatened them. During the coverage, the owner’s associates physically attacked reporters, attempting to snatch their mobile phones and equipment.
