Pune, May 13 (IANS) Veteran actress Tanuja along with her star daughters Kajol and Tanisha came together to commemorate a partnership between Orchids Breast Health Center and Siemens Healthcare for the cause of breast cancer awareness here.
�With the increase in awareness, women in India are starting to understand the importance of getting tested. I think this brilliant technology is revolutionary step forward towards prevention,” Tanisha said in a statement.
The trio along with a panel consisting of Indian doctors discussed the 2D Mammography machine with 3D Tomosynthesis, a new technology which was inaugurated on Tuesday for early detection of pre-cancer.
The three have been actively supporting the cause of breast cancer awareness through the Prashanti Cancer Care Mission, a non-profit NGO with Kajol as their brand ambassador and Tanuja as a trustee.
