Chaibasa, Feb. 10 : Sant Shiromoni Guru Ravi Das jayanti was celebrated with fervour at Ambedkar Nagar Mochisai Chaibasa on Friday.
A large number of people from Ravidas society took out a procession which traversed through various part of Chaibasa town.
The president of Ravi Das Society, Lalu Ravi Ram said, Sant Ravidas launched a movement in protest against caste and the differences between higher and lower sentimental wall standing against each other among the human being. He also created many great religious leaders through spiritual initiation.
He was in favour of human fraternity as we all are the creation of one Supreme Father. We must pledge to follow the social and spiritual path of Sant Ravidas.
On the occasion, games and sports competition were organised while the winners were awarded with prizes.
