Swarnrekha Kshetra Vikas Trust to organize Nadi Pujan on Jan 14

Jamshedpur, Jan 1: At a meeting of Swarnrekha Kshetra Vikas Trust (SKVT), chaired by the organization’s Trustee, Ashok Goel at the Bistupur office It was decided that the Annual Nadi Pujan (River Worship) festival will be organized on January 14 at Sonari Rivers’ Meet (Domuhani), Kalyannagar Ghat in Bhuinadih, Pandey Ghat in Sitaramdera and Bhojpur Colony Ghat in Baridih.

  Nadi Pujan on January 14 will commence at Sonari Domuhani Ghat at 10:30 am following which, Prasad will be distributed. A seminar on the occasion would be organized in which environmentalists and social

River worship will be organized at Sonari’s Domuhani Ghat at 10 am and a seminar will be held at 10.30 am, after which Prasad will be distributed. Environmentalists and social workers are being invited as guests in the seminar.

Jamshedpur East constituency MLA Saryu Rai will be specially present on the occasion. It may be mentioned here that the annual Nadi Pujan event is organized by SKVT in associaition with Yugantar Bharati. Various celebrities of the city and state participate in the seminar. The Nadi Puja event this year will be the 18^th occasion.

Responsibilities for organizing the 18^th Nadi Puja were distributed among the SKVT members. Those present in the meeting included Ashutosh Rai, Subodh Srivastava, Sudhir Singh, Hariram Singh, Akash Shah, Santosh Bhagat, Sunny Singh, Aditya Mukherjee and other members. (W/gsd)
