Swarnarekha Area Development Trust to organize Children’s Fair in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, August 11: The Swarnarekha Area Development Trust (SADT) announced organizing this year’s Children’s Fair at Sidhgora Children’s Park, like the previous year. A meeting to the effect was held on Friday at the Bistupur office. Jamshedpur East MLA Saryu Roy was present in the meeting.

Detailed discussions were held on organizing the Children’s Fair. MLA Saryu Roy stated that a weeklong Children’s Fair would be organized between November 20 and November 26 in celebration of International Children’s Day. The entire Fair would be organized by ‘Merry Me Event’ agency.

The Children’s Fair, taking place between November 20 and November 26, will feature various competitive events and entertaining programs for children from nursery classes to 10th grade. The events will include sports like table tennis, kabaddi, volleyball, badminton, chess, carom, swimming and educational features like science exhibitions, children’s films, fancy dress competitions, children’s songs and dances, painting among others.

Motivational speeches on examinations and career opportunities will be organized for students. Multiple stalls and exhibitions of children’s goods will also be set up. Artistes from various states across the country will be invited to entertain the children during the fair.

Saryu Roy stated, “This year’s Children’s Fair will be of a longer duration and more child-centric compared to the previous year. Students from both private and government schools will be invited to participate. The preparations for this grand event have already commenced.”

The meeting was attended by SADT trustees Ashok Goyal and Asutosh Rai, Education Representative S P Singh, Private Secretary Sudhir Singh, Anand Kumar, Rajesh Kumar from Merry Me Event, Sunil Singh, Raj Singh and others.
