Jamshedpur: A block level janata darbar was organized in Potka on Wednesday following the instructions of Deputy Commissioner of East Singhbhum Amit Kumar.
A large number of people gathered on the occasion and complained regarding absence of various facilities. BDO PC Das, CO Dwari Baitha and Zila Parishad member Pratima Rani Mandal were present along with others.
Addressing the gathering, the BDO said the Central and state governments were running several welfare schemes for the villagers. He appealed to the people to avail the benefits of these schemes and change their lives.
He said Gram Swaraj Abhiyan is being run in 58 villages of Potka. The people are being given the benefits of seven flagship schemes of the Central government, he said.
