“The basic purpose behind organising the fair is to ensure a platform to the finished goods of the rural artisans and craftsman who rarely get an opportunity to sale their products during summer season,” said another functionary. He noted that the western world is ruling the markets despite the fact that the products produced in our country are equally competitive. With increasing flow of western products multinationals are minting money at our own cost. It is our duty to consume ‘swadeshi’ products for the sake of our own people.
