Swachhta fortnight begins at SDSM School

Jamshedpur, Sept. 1: To spread awareness on cleanliness as a part of its Swachhta Abhiyan and CBSE guidelines, S.D.S.M. School for Excellence is celebrating Swachh Bharat Pakhwada from September 1st to 15th, 2018 with the focus on the students in taking leadership role for sanitation initiatives.

Recognizing the vital role of the schools in spreading the awareness about the Swachhta Mission and its implementation, Students were encouraged to participate enthusiastically in this mission. The aim of Swachhta Pakhwada observed by the school was to spread awareness on cleanliness. To mark the beginning of the cleanliness drive, an oath taking ceremony �Swachhta Shapat� was organized. The school cabinet led by School Pupil Leader (SPL) and ASPL, along with all the family captains and Vice-captains took the oath. The School Pupil Leader, Bhuwan Malakar administered the oath and ASPL, Akshit spoke on cleanliness.

The oath ceremony was well organized under the guidance of Principal,
Moushumi Das. The event was graced in the presence of Vice-Principal,
Ragini Singh, Primary Co-ordinator, all the Subject Co-ordinators, teachers and staff members. The following activities will be conducted by the school during the Pakhwara � Essay Competition on cleanliness, Hygiene practices in school, Inspection of Sanitary facilities in school, Painting Competition, Poem making on Swachhata for students staff and parents, and rally to propagate the theme of Pakhwara.
