Jamshedpur, Dec 13: As part of the Swachh Survekshan 2024 initiative, Mango Municipal Corporation’s brand ambassador, Mukhtar Alam Khan, administered a cleanliness oath to citizens near the Amo Academy Mosque on Old Purulia Road, following Jumma Namaz. The oath emphasized key practices like segregating dry and wet waste, handing over dry waste for door-to-door collection, and composting wet waste for use in plants.
Participants were urged to beautify their homes and promote cleanliness in the community. The event, organized under the guidance of Deputy Municipal Commissioner Suresh Yadav, saw the presence of notable figures, including Bachpan Play School Director Matinul Haq Ansari, retired MGM Medical College member Haji Jameel Asgar, Haji Razi Naushad of Hussaini Masjid Committee, and social worker Syed Alam, among others.
This initiative aims to enhance awareness of cleanliness practices and encourage active participation from the community in maintaining a cleaner environment.
