Swachh Sarvekshan 2023: Clean Puja Pandal competition by Jugsalai Municipal Council

Jamshedpur, Sept 26: In view of Swachh Sarvekshan – 2023 (Urban) 2.0, the Jugsalai Municipal Council (JMC) has issued notification to individuals, groups and Puja organizers to boycott all forms of single use plastic. JMC has declared that the top three puja pandals in its jurisdiction will be awarded prizes on 160 point parameters. There is a tendency among people including pandal hoppers to disregard the elements of hygiene at Puja pandals. The Swachh Puja Pandal competition is expected to ensure cleanliness in and around the puja pandals.  The JMC has issued WhatsApp number 7761866441 where information will be provided on Clean Puja Pandal. Prizes will be awarded to the winners of the competition. The WhatsApp number will be operational between 11 am and S pm.
