Jamshedpur, Sep 26: Jugsalai Nagar Parishad has appealed to citizens and Durga Puja organizers to celebrate the festive season in eco-friendly manner and make it single use plastic-free event or zero waste event this year.
In the appeal, the officials urged all citizens to extend their full cooperation in making Jugsalai the top contender in the Swachh Sarvekshan 2023 under the Swachh Bharat Mission Urban 2.0 of Government of India. The officials said a wide array of activities is to be organized in order to attain the goals set by the government under the said Mission.
Puja organizers have been requested to send the photos and brief information about the eco-friendly events to Jugsalai Nagar Parishad through email or WhatsApp so that they may be felicitated for their initiatives.
