Jamshedpur, Feb. 15: Purendra Narayan Singh has been made the Rashtriya Janta Dal (RJD) president of East Singhbhum district.
Earlier, Singh was suspended from the RJD for his alleged anti-party. However, nominating Singh as the party district unit chief is a clear that RJD doesn’t have any other leader capable of leading the party men in East Singhbum.
A state level meeting of RJD was held in the steel city on Monday where it was decided to elect Singh as the district unit president.
Speaking on the occasion, Singh said, “I will accept the responsibility that the party has given to me and would work to strengthen the party base at block level.”
