Jamshedpur, Nov. 13: For the upcoming Chhath festival, Surya Mandir in Sidhgora will host several cultural events along with an hour-long firework on Tuesday, November 17.
The preparations for the festival have been completed under the leadership of chief minister Raghubar Das, who is also the patron of the mandir committee.
On the first day of the festival on Tuesday, November 17 cultural programme will be held in the evening were famous singer, Sadhna Sargam, Surthi Singh and Krishna Chouhan were present devotional songs.
The whole event will be captured by drone camera were district police will also be present. On day 2 the festival on Wednesday, Chhath will conclude, said Pavan Agarwal and Dinesh Kumar addressing a press conference in Surya Mandir on Friday.
They further informed that, Surya Mandir committee will provide Prasad coupons to those who will be fasting, on 14 and 15 November from 10 am to 2 pm.
On the first day of the Chhath festival on Tuesday, the mandir doors will be opened for devotees from 2 pm and they won’t be charged a penny for entering the ghats and it will be on first come first serve basis. Also present at the press meet was Kamlesh Singh and Sushanto Panda.
