Jamshedpur, Feb 18: Tata Steel land department and district administration jointly conducted a survey of the Sairat bazaar area in company areas, being held for the first time after establishment of the markets.Â
There were 10 sairat bazaar set up by Tata Steel in the company command areas but as the population increased with city growth the markets become congested necessitating for this survey. The survey would let authorities know who are operating the units set up in Sairat bazaars and if they posses valid documents.Â
The survey work has been completed but those shopkeepers who have failed to submit some or the other documents they can submit by February 20 at the market office of respective Sairat Bazaar as no documents can be allowed to be submitted after this date.Â
The 10 sairat bazaar are in Sakchi, Bistupur, Kadma, Sonari Airport bazaar, Sonari Kagalnagar, Baridih, Sidhgora, Golmuri, Burmamines and Telco Azad Market.Â
The joint team of Tata Steel and district administration have decided for multistoried market complex in the sairat bazaar area to ease congestion of shops and also for beautification of the city.Â
