Surajmal Jain DAV students shine at IT talent search competition

Chaibasa, Nov.19: Final round of IT talent search competition (Udaan) was organised by the state government at DPS Ranchi on 14 November.

At the competition Surajmal Jain DAV Public school, Chaibasa bagged the best award in group B category in the Jharkhand state. The student of 9th class Ashar Ejaz and 10th class student Praneet jointly represented Surajmul Jain DAV school Chaibasa.

Both the winners were awarded with one smart phone, pen drive and trophy by the chief minister Raghubar Das and central cabinet Minister Nitin Gadkari during the Jharkhand Foundation day ceremony in presence of Governor Draupadi Murmu at Morabadi Ground in Ranchi November 15.

The chief minister also announced scholarships for the winners. Praising the students at the morning assembly, Principal of Surajmal Jain School, Rekha Kumari wished bright future for the students and expressed that it is a proud moment for the institution.

On the other hand the institution commemorated the anniversary of the former prime minister Indira Gandhi and paid floral tribute to the portrait of Indira Gandhi and highlighted the personality and credibility of Indira Gandhi.

The chief guest for the occasion was Lal Bihari Singh from Gayatri Parivar, Haridwar.

Addressing the students, Singh explained the scientific definition of Gayatri Mantra and emphasized to sort out the present social problem through the meditation process of five plexus layers of the body and also explained the scientific method of meditation to control over the mind and body.

The DAV school also started the week long celebration of the religious harmony week from November 19.
