Jamshedpur: Marwari Yuva Manch Steel City Surabhi branch members launched on their Anti Tobacco Day trail with an LED screen equipped van which will traverse along city roads to educate the masses on ill effects of tobacco use.
Zila Agrawal Sammelan president Santosh Agrawal and social worker Bhanwarlal Khandelwal jointly cut a tape to set the vehicle in motion. Surabhi�s anti tobacco mission commenced from Super Centre Mall in Sakchi.
Surabhi branch president Parul Chetani and secretary Nisha Singhal stated that the LED screen fitted van will visit various areas to spread awareness on ill effects of tobacco use and urge people to give up the addiction in their varied forms. �Tobacco is the root cause of all diseases. It is our endeavor to tell the people to avoid tobacco use,� they said.
The Surabhi team that started the campaign today also included Manisha Sanghi, Usha Chowdhary, Sonu Moonka, Chanda Chowdhary and Mamata Agrawal.
