Jamshedpur, April 15: The women’s wing of Marwari Yuva Manch steel City branch, Surabhi has been continuing to render yeoman service to a less privileged mankind. In view of the rising number of COVID infection in the viral disease’s second wave, Surabhi today launched its poster and free oxygen service vide oxygen bank online on Thursday. The project was inaugurated by Jamshedpur East legislator Saryu Roy online. In his address on the occasion, Roy was full of appreciation for the spirit of service among Surabhi members ably led by president Manisha Sanghi and secretary Kavita Agrawal.
It may be mentioned that Surabhi had launched a similar service in 2020 during the COVID outbreak.
In a communiqué, Manisha informed that the oxygen bank would be operational 24×7 and in case of help, people could call on 9472784977, 9470501601 and 7033623777. Other members present during the online launch of the oxygen bank were secretary Kavita Agrawal, programme coordinator Usha Chowdhary, treasurer Muskan Agrawal, Smita Moonka, Mamata Agrawal, Parul Chetani, Ruchi Bansal, Sanjana Agrawal, Babita Ringasia and Renu Agrawal.
