Jamshedpur: The city’s prominent literary organization Surabhi is set to organize an All India Hasya Kavi Sammelan on Saturday, February 28, 2026. The event will be held at Shrimati Kusum Kamani Auditorium, located within the campus of Narbheram Hansraj English School, from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
Surabhi President Govind Dodrajka (Agrawal) stated that former Union Minister Arjun Munda has given his consent to inaugurate the programme. The event will feature some of the country’s leading poets of humor, satire and lyrical genres. Among the distinguished invitees is celebrated lyricist Santosh Anand, known for evergreen songs such as “Ek Pyar Ka Nagma Hai” and several award-winning film compositions.
Other prominent poets participating include Dr. Aditya Jain (Kota), Munna Battery (Mandsaur), Himanshu Bawandar (Ujjain), Chetan Charchit (Indore), Shashi Shreya (Lucknow) and Shraddha Shaurya (Nagpur). The programme will be compered by Dr. Aditya Jain.
Surabhi has been organizing grand All India Kavi Sammelans around Holi for the past 25 years. Entry is free through invitation passes available at the organization’s Bistupur office.
