Support JVM for developed and corruption-free state: Marandi

Ranchi: Jharkhand Vikas Morcha president and former Chief Minister Babulal Marandi today addressed a public rally at Kapali falling under Ichagarh Assembly constituency in favour of party candidate from Ranchi Lok Sabha constituency Amitabh Choudhary.

Appealing to voters to support Amitabh Choudhary, former IPS officer and Jharkhand State Cricket Association president, Marandi said only JVM stood among the various political parties as the only option that could open the doors of a secure and bright future for the people of the state.

�Be it any of the other parties, none has been able to put up a worthy appearance before the people. The issues of development and corruption have been neglected grossly by the parties till date. Despite more than a decade, the BJP, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha and other parties have failed to live up to the expectations of the people. Hence JVM stands as the only option for the voters this election,� said Marandi.

Marandi termed Choudhary�s tenure as a police officer bright and full of dedication. He said Choudhary had contributed a lot to the state through his sincerity and selfless service till before his voluntary retirement.

Ichagarh MLA and senior party leader Arvind Singh was also present during the programme. He said the voters should support Choudhary just the way the people of Jamshedpur were determined to support Dr Ajoy Kumar in the upcoming election.
Many party activists were present on the occasion. They visited households and appealed to voters to cast their vote in favour of Choudhary.
