Jamshedpur, August 12: The Sundarnagar police station initiated an anti-drug campaign in Bahardadhi, a remote village in Keruwadungri Panchayat. The Sunday event focused on motivating villagers to create a drug-free community.

Police station in-charge Shankar Prasad Kushwaha urged residents to actively work towards keeping the younger generation away from drug abuse. As part of the campaign, the police distributed educational materials to village children, including notebooks, pens, books, pencils, erasers, cutters, rulers, colors, chocolates, and biscuits.

The initiative demonstrates the police’s efforts to combat drug-related issues through community engagement and awareness. By reaching out to remote areas, the campaign aims to prevent drug abuse at the grassroots level and foster a healthier environment for children.

Panchayat head Kanhu Murmu and other local leaders were present, showing community support for the anti-drug efforts.
