Jamshedpur : A three-day day Summer Camp was organised from May 22 by Rakhi Agarwal and Sangita Mishra in Deonagar wherein 25 children participated .
The children were from age group 5-14 years.The camp�comprised of many games like Romeo & Juliet, Pick ball from Pool, Fast writing, Passing the parcel,� along with many activities like cool yourself in pool,� crafts from paper, Message box, Purse making, Crown Making, Jewlery Designing ,flowers making by stone, Designer gift boxes, Fashion show.
Agarwal said that to help children understand the importance of extra activities in laying the foundations of a healthy life during their summer vacations, they organised a summer camp.
She said that summer is the best time for children to take time off from the regular chore of going to school and getting down to the curriculum.
Summer camps also provide welcome relief to working parents as they keep their child occupied for a part of the day.The participants were given prizes by Renu Barbhaya and Rita Agarwal on the last day.
The children enjoyed the three- day of fun and were looking forward to many more such camps.
