Jamshedpur, June 1: A ten-day summer camp cum sports camp for madrasa children commenced on Saturday at Mango Gandhi Maidan, organized by the Mango Welfare Mission. The first day featured a special fitness workshop for the students of Kapali-based Darain Academy, focusing on fitness tricks, good food habits, and a healthy lifestyle. A total of 70 children participated in this workshop.
The event was graced by Dr. Afroz Shakeel, Dr. Nematullah Misbahi, Master Atiq, Al Kabir College Prof. Aftab Alam, Naveed Ahmed, Maulana Imtiaz, Shahid Akhtar, Shadab Khan, Mohd Tahir Hussain, and Mohd Rashid Sonu.
Under the leadership of patron Ajmeri Khan, the camp aims to promote sports and fitness among madrasa students across various locations in the city over the next ten days. The camp will conclude on June 10 at Gandhi Maidan, where children from ten madrasas will be collectively honored with certificates.
